During the Summer of 2013 a variety of events will take place by Lunde Locks and the surronding areas.

MAY
26th of April - The Cafe/Restaurant at Lunde Lock opens for the season 18nd: Victoria, the oldest Canalboat, opens the boatseason. 19th: Henrik Ibsen (another passanger Canalboat starts its season) 24th-26th: The Pike of the Canal - Pike fishing contest organized by "Lunde Jeger og fisk" 25th: The Telemark Ride (Tour de Telemark) - a bike ride from Dalen to Lunde, Kvitseid to Lunde or Lunde - Flåbygd - Lunde. Organizer is Skade Bicycle-Club
JUNE
8th: "SluseRock" - a non-alcoholic event for youth - Organizer: The Municipality of Nome 15th: Telemarken (a passanger canalboat starts up its season) 21th-22th: "Viser ved Kanalen" ("Sound of the Canal) - A music festival located by Lunde Locks. 28th-30th Wings and Wheels Veteran - a car, plane and motorbike summon on Lunde Flightclubs Runway. For program and information please visit www.wingsandwheels.no Last part of June till middle of August: Young musicians and students from the Culture school will preform everyday between 12.30 - 14.00

AUGUST
11th: "The Telemark" one of the canalboats has its last journey on the canal for this season. SEPTEMBER
8th: "Victoria" has its last journey on the canal for this season 21th: "Henrik Ibsen" has its last journey on th ecanal for this season
