The old Shippinghall is now accomodating the restaurant/cafe- Lunde slusekro. Here you can relax with beautiful soroundings, watch the boats being manually transfered through the locks as you enjoy a lovely meal.
Lunde Slusekro is open from May - September
Lunde slusekro is located by the Telemarkskanal a few metres from the lock in Lunde. From the campsite it is about 300 metres to walk. It is a place of contrast; old and new buildings surrouded by idyllic nature, water and big stones in the lock chamber, it is very crowded when the canalboat arrive in the middle of the day and it has also very quiet periods during the day. It is also a place for some conserts and festival activities. If you want to enjoy a dinner/an ice cream/somtheing to drink ... in a place with special surroundings - try to visit Lunde slusekro.
