The day is coming to an end. In the gloaming you get your kayak or canoe ready, and start off a quiet paddle journey to discover the water come to life.
The canal and its surroundings are the natural habitat for the Beaver, and it is very common to spot one either having a meal on the shore, or maybe even taking a swim next to you

The old Shippinghall is now accomodating the restaurant/cafe- Lunde slusekro. Here you can relax with beautiful soroundings, watch the boats being manually transfered through the locks as you enjoy a lovely meal.
