You will experience many great adventures on or along the Telemark Canal, whether you choose to go by foot, canoe, kayak, bicycle, horse, with the canal boats or a combination of the above. We will design any tour for your personal needs and wants.
You will find us near the locks in Lunde, where we have our idyllic campsite.
During the Summer of 2010 a variety of events will take place by Lunde Locks or the surronding areas. We are also planning more events during the summer season which will be published on this site.
The Cafe/Restaurant by Lunde Locks will be open Friday 30th and will only be open during weekends until May 22nd, then it will be open everyday for the season.
With our wide range of canoes and kayaks we aim to meet whatever your needs, wheter you are a beginner or more advanced. Wheter you like to go for a short or a long journey. Maybe you want a pedalkayak perfect for taking you out fishing?
We also offer kayaks for children so your whole family can experience the ultimate joy of kayaking.
The day is coming to an end. In the gloaming you get your kajak or canoe ready and start off a quiet paddle journey to discover the water come to life.
The canal and its surroundings are the natural habitat for the Beaver and it is very common to spot one either having a meal on the shore or maybe even taking swim next to you
The old Shippinghall is now accomodating our restaurant/cafe. Here you can relax with beautiful soroundings, watch the boats being manually transfered through the locks as you enjoy a lovely meal.
”Telemark Kanalcamping” is a touring park offering a spacious pitch for tents, motor homes and caravans. It is situated in the natural beauty of Middle Telemark with stunning views overlooking the Telemark Canal and with the Lunde Locks as its nearest neighbor.
